Joint Production Shipyard Function Preview

2023-04-10

Dear Explorers, Greetings!

We are committed to making the Lagrange Network as realistic and vibrant as possible for all Explorers, which is why we pay special attention to the industrial logic settings of ship manufacturing. In the Lagrange Network, shipyards are extremely flexible, giving Explorers the option to choose different ship production strategies according to the environment of their star system and their own needs. To better reflect our design ideas and industrial logic, we've updated and optimized the functions of shipyards in the Explorer Base.

In the newest Explorer Base blueprints provided by the Antonios Explorer Development Division, "Capital Shipyard I" will be adjusted to "Joint Production Shipyard." The "Joint Production Shipyard" can be carried by Explorers' ships into the star system they are exploring and can be built in Zone 1 of the Base. The Joint Production Shipyard is equipped with highly generalized production facilities and is capable of joint production. It can produce Capital Ships, Super Capital Ships, and Aircraft without requiring specialized production equipment.

Due to the modular characteristics of ship production, the Joint Production Shipyard is capable of segmented production. If there are insufficient resources to produce a complete ship when using joint production facilities, it is possible to use up a portion of the required resources to achieve corresponding ship production progress.

To help Explorers adapt to the new joint production function, the Explorer Base's Repair Dock will be able to repair ships that don't have production facilities at a lower efficiency.

When production is carried out without production facilities, the resources and time required will increase. The Antonios Explorer Development Division has further modified the Base blueprints for experienced Explorers, which allows the Joint Production Shipyard to accommodate Utility Ships and improves the efficiency of a joint production by utilizing the engineering equipment of Utility Ships.

Explorers face the complex and ever-changing environment of star systems whenever they are exploring. We'll provide Explorers with a variety of development strategies for greater freedom in the game. The Joint Production Shipyard function is expected to be available on April 12. Stay tuned!
