Today we will introduce a new feature under development—the "Research Agreement" and adjustments on some Tech Files. After completing the exploration agreement of the first phase, the Antonios Consortium, NOMA Shipping Group, Jupiter Industries, and the Terran Sphere forces all have a deeper understanding of you. They have prepared a more personalized "Research Agreement" for you so that you can customize your research demand in subsequent star system exploration. Each ship design company will grant you the authorization of blueprints and their variant models meeting your research scope requirements.

It costs you a certain number of Research Points to sign the Research Agreement. You can start the research process upon signing the agreement. The process is divided into 3 phases, in each of which you can select a research direction you want.

Research direction will be divided into 3 categories: Entrusting Company, Tactical Performance, and Strategic Performance. Under each category are subdivided directions available for selection. If you select "Antonios Consortium" under the category of Entrusting Company, for example, the research scope will be narrowed down to all the blueprints and their variant models developed by the Antonios Consortium.

Select a subdivided research direction to determine the research scope and estimated research time. Then, the research begins and will continue for a while. You can accelerate the research process with the input of various types of technology you have.

Once the interim research has been completed, you can decide whether to "Draw Blueprint" directly or conduct "Next-Phase Research" judging by the research scope. If choosing to "Draw Blueprint," you will get a blueprint within the determined research scope; if choosing "Next-Phase Research," you need to select another research direction to determine the estimated research time again.
The more research directions you select, the more precise the research scope. With that being said, it is notable that more research time is required for the subsequent phases due to the complexity of the blueprint research. In the 3 phases, you have a total of 3 chances to select a research direction to determine the Entrusting Company and the blueprint's Tactical and Strategic Performance.
The Research Agreement is expected to be available soon. After completing the first phase of exploration and registering in the hub star system, you can experience this feature in new star systems.
With the update of the "Research Agreement" feature, the approach to obtaining some blueprints will be adjusted. The blueprints involved are as follows:
Mistral - Combat Attacker - Anti-Aircraft Type
CV-T800 - Pulsar Corvette - Anti-Aircraft Type
Quaoar - Railgun Destroyer - Railgun Type
Quaoar - Railgun Destroyer -Torpedo Type
Aldabra - Heavy Cannon Destroyer - Generic Type
Aldabra - Heavy Cannon Destroyer - Armored Type
Jaeger - Heavy Aircraft Cruiser - Auxiliary Type
Jaeger - Heavy Aircraft Cruiser - Anti-Ship Type
Conamara Chaos - Light High-Speed Cruiser - Railgun Type
Conamara Chaos - Light High-Speed Cruiser - Plasma Type
Before adjustments, the above blueprints are only obtainable in the star systems rich in trojite crystals or of the Mutual Cooperation Agreement. After adjustments, you have a chance to acquire these blueprints from the "Tech Files Selected by Enterprises," "Black Market Tech Files," and "Ship & Aircraft BP Files" in any a star system after completing the first phase of exploration. Meanwhile, the "Research Agreement" feature also offers a chance to get the above blueprints.
