Preview on Adjustments to Ship System HP

Dear Pioneers!

In the Lagrange Network, ships and aircraft comply with a strict industrial design code. In addition to practical external designs, ships are equipped with precise internal structures. There are corresponding dimensions for different ship hulls and the systems that they carry. Different ship manufacturing companies have their own technical lines of research and development, and their own unique understandings of the structures of ship hulls and various systems. The current HP design of the game's ship systems cannot achieve this world view. Therefore, we have decided to further refine and modify it.

 

In addition, we actively listened to and got an understanding of real feedback from players following the combat mechanics adjustments to the attack system on April 6. At the same time, we analyzed a large amount of combat-related data. We found out that the system failed prematurely in some cases, which affected battle content and player enjoyment. As a result, we will make adjustments to ship and aircraft system HP.

 

We will adjust the HP of some ships according to the ratio of component dimensions to hull size based on the features of different ship classes. As we make adjustments, different companies' ships will be differentiated and designed based on the different ship design companies' characteristics.

The HP of smaller ships and aircraft will be closer to that of ship hulls because of their smaller dimensions and higher system concentration. The ratio of system HP to hull HP will be relatively reduced for bulky super capital ships.

 

We will further customize the system structure layout of some ships in accordance with the unique technical lines of ship manufacturing companies.

The Endless Dawn standard ship goes for an economical build process and scalability in its components, attaching importance to protecting its weapon systems.

Jupiter Industries' ships are designed for maximum combat efficiency. Adopting an intensive and sophisticated ship build method, they have a technical edge in aircraft tech and fleet command synergy. Accordingly, their ships put more emphasis on the structural design and protection of the hanger and command systems.

Norma Transport's ships are usually equipped with a well-developed kinetic damage protection system. They specialize in the development and application of traditional kinetic energy weapons. They also lay emphasis on protective designs for the armor and propulsion systems.

The Antonios Consortium specializes in building cutting-edge weapons and large ships. They have a special technical understanding of weapon system protection and maintain a competitive edge in the structural design of aircraft armor, propulsion and command systems.

 

The HP of propulsion systems will be relatively higher on civilian ships, such as utility ships, because mass transport purposes are taken into consideration during their design. At the same time, they are usually equipped with backup propulsion systems since they are non-combat ships. This means that utility ships still have a chance of triggering an emergency evasion when their conventional propulsion systems are destroyed.

 

The updated X8 - Small Utility Ship, X10 - Medium Utility Ship, X20 - Large Utility Ship, and D20 - Data Utility Ship will be equipped with "backup propulsion systems" to provide a chance of emergency evasion if their regular propulsion systems are destroyed. The above adjustments and updates will be available after routine maintenance on April 27.
