In the previous preview, we covered the background of cross-system expeditions. In this preview, we will talk about how to connect the cross-system network within the cluster and how to engage in battles in the target star system.
I. Connect the Cross-system Network
Explorers participating in cluster exploration will sign the "Cluster Sailing Supplemental Agreement" along with the existing Star System Agreement. The "Cluster Sailing Supplemental Agreement" will allow Explorers to assist in connecting the cross-system network within the cluster and dispatch fleets to jump through the Lagrange Gate of the local star system to other star systems within the cluster.
To assist Explorers in cross-system expeditions, the Dawn Accord Compliance Committee has deployed several Stargate Stations in these star systems. Once a Stargate Station in a star system is controlled, the cross-system space exploration project will commence. This project can target any other star system within the same cluster. Explorers can participate in the cross-system space exploration project to boost the connection progress of the cross-system network by sending ships to Stargate Stations or completing missions. Once the network connection to a star system reaches 100% progress, a one-way passage to that star system will be opened.

II. Travel Through the Lagrange Gate to Other Star Systems
After connecting to the cross-system network of a star system, Explorers can initiate an "Expedition Rally" at the Stargate Station. All rallied fleets will travel through the Lagrange Gate and head to the target star system together at several specific times within a day.
Rally for Expedition
A fleet in its first expedition rally must include an Auxiliary Ship so it can quickly establish a Sub-base upon reaching the target star system.
When traveling to a target star system for the first time, Explorers may select a region in the target star system. After traveling through the Lagrange Gate, the fleet will arrive at a random location in that region. If a Sub-base has already been established in the target star system, subsequent fleets can use that Sub-base as the destination after the cross-system jump.

III. Operate in the Target Star System
In the target star system, Explorers will rely primarily on Auxiliary Ships and Sub-bases to conduct their operations. Explorers must deploy Sub-bases in the outer star systems as soon as possible. A Sub-base offers various features such as fleet creation, resource storage, ship repair, and Tactical Item deployment.
Fleet passing through the Lagrange Gate and expanding into a Sub-base
The resources of each star system are independent of each other, and the "Cluster Sailing Supplemental Agreement" prohibits Explorers from mining resources in outer star systems. However, Explorers can transport a certain amount of resources to the target star system through the Stargate Stations to quickly replenish ships or execute construction commands.
Action Points, Max Operations, Max Port Command Points, and BP Active Service Limit are shared between different star systems. The Squad/Community affiliations from the original star system will also remain across star systems as well, allowing Explorers to warp drive using stable warp points of members from the same Squad or Community.
Explorers can quickly switch star systems via the operation panel and command multiple fleets in different star systems.
While cross-system expeditions offer infinite possibilities, they also come with certain risks. A cross-system fleet that travels through the Lagrange Gate will no longer be able to return to its original star system. A fleet engaged in combat in an outer star system will be completely lost upon defeat if it is not deployed to a Sub-base in time.
Do you want to play it safe and dominate your own star system? Or would you prefer to take a bold expedition to another star system? Or will you conquer the entire cluster like an unstoppable force? The future of the Lagrange Network is yours to write.
In the next preview, we will talk about the rating and reward rules for cross-system expeditions, as well as the impact of cross-system expeditions on the original Star System Development Rating. Stay tuned.
