New Social and Team Gameplay Preview I New Org - A More Personalized Org Structure

2024-01-02

"Rather than remain unchanged, Orgs should constantly break apart under the strain of actions, constantly renewing and evolving as they self-repair."

—Cannon Gin, Chief of the General Staff of the Ares Corps

The Org structure within the Lagrange Network has always been diverse, rich, and dynamic. In addition to the regular gameplay updates, we, as developers, are always finding ways to enrich and diversify the social gaming experience for Explorers. In the Lagrange Network, we will introduce even more personalized Orgs and flexible teaming options, such as Squads and Communities, for easier and better collaboration. Meanwhile, the newly established "Free Explorer Association" is here to support Explorers who are not part of any Org.

This gameplay preview is split into four parts. The first part will cover the imminent changes to Orgs.

Orgs Moving into the Explorers System

The new versions of Unions, Guilds, and Clans will all be moved to the Explorers System and will no longer be responsible for strategic roles or Community-forming in regular star systems.

Unions will have a capped membership of 100, Guilds at 50, and Clans at 30. They are no longer associated with Org Talents.

Newcomers to the Lagrange Network will first start their journey in squads. Once their star systems issue a settlement notice, these Explorers will then receive an "Org Invitation" from Antontas Org Development Division, allowing them to create or join an Org.

Org Level

The Org Level is now capped at Lv.50. Leveling up the Org to unlock Org equipment and talents, and the unique cosmetic items such as Org emblems, Org member titles, etc. Plus, there is the simulation training for you to unlock. (Some features will gradually become available in future updates)

The current Org Level will be retained.

Leveling up the Org isn't just about the numbers; it's a salute to your Org members' hard work and dedication. With all Explorers on board, we are sure the Org ecosystem will be buzzing and bustling in no time.

Org Equipment

To give our Org members an extra edge in their exploration, apart from the three pieces of personal equipment, Clans, Guilds, Unions, and the Free Explorer Association have crafted their own exclusive Org Equipment for Explorers to use in their exploration. Org Equipment must be selected and equipped before starting a star system exploration, and it's not possible to change them once the exploration begins.

Org Equipment becomes available for Clans, Guilds, and Unions at Org Lv.1. Org Equipment for Clans, Guilds, and Unions can be loaded with 1 exclusive talent and 5 generic talents by default. Org Equipment for the Free Explorer Association can be loaded with 5 generic talents. There will be 5 extra switchable generic talents unlocked when the Org level of Clans, Guilds, and Unions reaches Lv.10.

Exclusive Talents

If a squad has 15 members from the same Org, it becomes an exclusive squad for that particular Org. The exclusive squad will activate "Exclusive Talents" in the Org Equipment for these Org members. Exclusive talent effects of different Orgs:

Clan: Unlock squad building — Warehouse. Can be used to exchange resources.

Guild: Unlock squad building — Dockyard. Can be used to exchange ships.

Union: Unlock squad building — Command Center. Can be used to exchange Action Points.

Generic Talents

There are 10 generic talents in total, all of which will be unlocked at Org Lv.10. These talents are divided into five categories, and Orgs can pick one out of the two talents in each category.

Category 1:

Enhanced Facility Yield: Increases resource output of Base facilities.

Cooperative Development Agreement: Gains resource bonuses from space stations occupied by other squads in the Community.

Category 2:

Reserve Force Construction: Increases the Base Military Port Command Points.

Sub-Fleet Command Tech: Increases the maximum number of sub-fleets from Sub-Fleet Command Center 1.

Category 3:

Rating Lobbying I: When rating an Identity agreement, members gain extra Dawn Points.

Rating Lobbying II: Gain extra Dawn Points if the Star System Agreement reaches the highest or second-highest ratings.

Category 4:

More for Less: The number of Resource Refining Boxes available for daily purchase at the Trading Post has increased, with reduced prices.

Shared Joy: The distributed collection effect is activated when mining the Advanced Mining Platform of another Explorer within the squad.

Category 5:

Golden Fleet: Increases the upper limit of Fleet Command Points.

Action Points Management: Increases the recovery speed of Action Points.

The talents of the above Org Equipment will replace the existing Org talents. We're confident that our Explorers will embrace these new challenges with an array of strategies and tactics, becoming the most distinguished existent in the Lagrange Network.

To ensure a great experience for everyone, following the Org Equipment update, we will distribute relevant Org Equipment to all seasoned Explorers according to the type of their current Orgs. Those who haven't joined an Org will receive Org Equipment from the Free Explorer Association. Every piece of Org Equipment can select the default generic talents from different categories.

Org Prestige Points

Orgs gain Org Prestige Points through members submitting their Org points. When Explorers complete their Star System Development Rating and receive Dawn Points, they will submit an equal number of contribution points to their Orgs. Orgs will receive 1 Org Prestige Point for every specified number of Contribution Points accumulated.

Org Contribution Points submitted by Explorers will be kept in their collections as souvenirs. Corresponding titles can be unlocked when Explorers have submitted enough Contribution Points.

Org's Unique Cosmetic Items and Gameplay

In addition, we will be gradually unlocking Org emblems, Org member titles, and simulation training, among other cosmetic items and gameplay, in upcoming updates.

Orgs will now have their own emblems, allowing leaders and officers to pick their favorite designs, backgrounds, and borders to make a unique emblem that truly belongs to their Org. At the same time, the Org's exclusive squad can use the emblem as their squad emblem, showcasing their Org while exploring new star systems.

Orgs are launching simulation training, where Org members can practice their maneuvers in sessions such as "Racing Between the Stars." This diverse and engaging simulation training put members' teamwork and skills to the test, rewarding them with rewards such as Org EXP and Livery Points.

Plus, as the Org Level increases, titles for Org members will become available. Org admins can assign these unique Org-exclusive titles to their Org members. Every single one of these showcases the characteristics and styles of the Org.

From now on, Orgs are no longer responsible for strategic roles or Community-forming in regular star systems. Explorers will embark on journeys to different star systems in the form of squads. The squad will unite Explorers like never before, signing up for the Star System Agreements and facilitating social interactions, strategy planning, and Community creations within the star system. Clans, Guilds, Unions, or Explorers not affiliated with an Org can form squads across these groups or create squads exclusive to their Org members. The ins and outs of the squad gameplay will be covered in the next preview. Stay tuned.
