New Star Systems: The Data Rescue Agreement Gameplay Preview (II)

2022-01-13

In the last post, we've introduced the reason and background of having the Data Rescue Agreement. The Warping Reverberation phenomenon may affect the gravity at the core of stars, lead to the high-energy emission from the interior of them irregularly, and thus cause severe damage to the entire star system. This phenomenon has drawn attention from the majority of Galactic Factions. We will look at the detailed gameplay of the Data Rescue Agreement and development rating rules in the new star systems this time.

1. Changes in Star System Environment
In this rescue operation, you need to pay attention to stellar activities all the moment and make plans based on the pattern of high radiation outbursts. In these star systems, fleets can enter the radiation zones as required, although the destroyers, frigates, and small and medium utility ships in the fleets will receive continuous structural damage because of the effects of high radiation. Meanwhile, buildings will burn into ruins after continuously receiving damage from high radiation jets. Therefore, those important data stored in the Experiment Centers and Observation Stations require rescue and transfer as soon as possible.

2. Space Station Ruins
After falling into ruins, space stations can't be properly inhabited or used, but they still hold a large number of resources, repairable shipwrecks, and significant experiment data for you to search and collect. The existence of these shipwrecks offers more support for the diversified strategies since some of them had been specially retrofitted to adapt to the harsh environment and resist the high radiation for a long time.

However, since ruins are not governed by any factions and hold bountiful resources, they also become the "gathering spots" for Privateers. You need to concentrate all your strength to eliminate these Privateers to earn enough time to search and collect resources and rescue data.

3. Blueprint Authorization in These Star Systems
The Data Rescue Agreement is issued by the Antonios Consortium to recruit experienced explorers to head to the dangerous star systems affected by "Warping Reverberation" to rescue significant planetary experiment data and observational data. To help you collect the experimental data more effectively and safely in these star systems, the Antonios Consortium will provide the temporary blueprint authorization of the "D20 - Data Utility Ship" to every signatory to the agreement.

4. Data Rescue and Star System Development Rating
These data buried and undiscovered under the ruins are the focus of attention and search for every Galactic Faction. They will be temporarily stored in the Base after being collected. There are two ways for you to do with these data:
Transport these data to the Space Cities with storage function in safe zones.
Transfer them via the "Data Uploading Platform" near the stargate.

According to the Data Rescue Agreement signed in this star system exploration, the 2 different ways to do with the data correspond to different rating rules:
The data transferred via the Data Uploading Platform will be directly converted into Rating Points of your Union.
The data stored in cities will be converted into Rating Points of the Union to which you belong at the time of star system development rating.
The final star system development rating will be subject to your Union's place in the data rescue rankings in the star system.

That's all for the detailed gameplay about the Data Rescue Agreement and the development rating rules in the new star systems. The agreement will be available for signing to the explorers in the hub star system on Jan 18, 2022.
